Every registered member gets an account called "My Guntopia". The
My Guntopia account serves three main purposes. First – This is
where you conduct your price negotiations and trading business. Second – The
results and summary of all your transactions are reported here.
Third – This is where you do the housekeeping. Such as:
Edit changes to your registration information for individuals,
FFL Holders, and FFLdealerNet™ Network Dealers. This is also where
you can change your password.
On completed deals with Secure Payment Handling, the Buyer and Seller are
required to complete
tracking information as each step of the process is completed. This
tracking information is available to all parties for viewing. For example,
when a sale is closed and if the check method is used, the Buyer reports
after they have sent the balance of the funds due to Guntopia. Or, when
the Seller ships the firearm, they share this information with everyone
by updating the system. A complete record is viewable at the Transaction
Journal. During the closing process, emails are sent to the respective
parties with instruction on how to update each event.
The My Guntopia page allows each member to customize which bid items are
kept on the main screen and which are moved to the archive.
