will display the shipping cost in the ad. If the
seller has overlooked this detail, you may contact
him using the public bulletin board to make this
inquiry.
Transfer Fees. Guntopia strongly suggest
that all firearm deliveries and transfers be done
properly. For unlicensed individuals this means going
through an FFL dealer. The cost can be anywhere
from $0 to a percentage of the firearm being transferred.
It is best to estimate about $35 for this service.
NICS Background (if any). Some FFL dealers
may charge a separate charge for this service.
Additionally, some state may charge a fee, which is
collected by the FFL dealer. Currently there are no
fees charged by the federal government for the NICS
check. Check with your FFL dealer for clarification
about this cost.
State and local sales/Use taxes (if applicable).
Check with your local and state treasury departments
for compliance regulations. It is the responsibility
of the purchaser to comply with the local and state
sales, and or use tax laws.
